Happiest b-day Shy shrimp : Thanks

Grattis på födelsedagen :huggle:
Hey I saw your forum post and didn't want to post too publicly so I'm commenting on your page (lovely gallery btw!) I completely understand what it is like to live with severe anxiety and panic attacks and feel sorry that they have come back to you. It's like my worst nightmare to have this happen to me (I also haven't had them in years, thank god, but the fear or their return is always there). For me personally meds seem like the only thing that works...or at least the only thing you can rely on relatively well. That said, I've found that general anxiety is easier to manage than panic attacks because you can actually reduce it (whereas panic attacks, once started, seem to have a life of its own, as you must know). So it helps to focus on the anxiety you CAN reduce and try to keep it down to the minimum. Also don't feel bad about distracting yourself from it--distraction is a legit way to deal with it and it can work better than a lot of things. Hugs to you and hope you feel better soon!
Hey!

Thank you for your kind of words. The photos are about 9 years old and do not give an accurate description of my current person. But thanks
Yes. Ive had anxiety all my life. But it is only in my 20s I have started to take it more seriously and also I understand myself better now.
Medication was also the thing that helped the most for me. Yes I totally agree with the panic attacks. They totally live their own life.
I read somewhere the only way is to face them because then you will feel like you are in control. It is so hard though
